Big Ten to use coin honoring Sam Foltz and Mike Sadler in Week 5
All of the coin flips before Big Ten games in Week 5 will pay tribute to Sam Foltz and Mike Sadler.
The conference’s seven games are all between member schools and each game will use a coin for the flip that has Foltz on one side and Sadler on the other. The soon-to-be senior punter for Nebraska and former Michigan State punter were killed in an auto accident leaving a kicking camp in Wisconsin in July.

Nebraska wore a helmet decal honoring Foltz all season while Michigan State had Sadler’s number in the midfield logo for its Week 4 game vs. Wisconsin.
Per Nebraska’s team site, the Huskers will use the tribute coin before every remaining Big Ten home game this season. All Big Ten schools have the option of using the coin or the traditional Nile Kinnick coin for pregame flips.
