Florida State will be without its No. 2 receiver Saturday vs. Clemson.

Coach Jimbo Fisher said Thursday that Bobo Wilson would miss the game vs. the No. 3 Tigers. Wilson injured his right foot vs. Wake Forest in Week 7 and hasn’t practice all week after No. 12 FSU’s bye in Week 8.

Wilson has 30 catches for 390 yards and a touchdown in 2016. He’s the team’s second-leading receiver behind Travis Rudolph, who has 32 catches for 497 yards and three scores. Wilson is also Florida State’s main punt returner. Wilson has nine returns for 155 yards and a score.

Fisher mentioned Auden Tate and Nyqwan Murray as players that would see playing time in Wilson’s absence. The two have a combined 13 catches for 225 yards while Tate has four touchdowns.

It’s not much of a surprise, but FSU will be without star defensive back Derwin James as well vs. Clemson. James tore his left meniscus on Sep. 12 and hasn’t played since. Fisher said earlier in the week that the team isn’t expecting James to redshirt and hopes he’ll be able to play at some point before the end of the season. James was expected to be out approximately six weeks because of the injury.

Fisher had said before Florida State’s bye that he didn’t expect James to be able to suit up vs. the Tigers, who won last year’s meeting 23-13. It was the Tigers’ first win in the series since 2011.
