Michigan takes I-formation to new level with wacky pre-snap look (Video)

On a second-and-two play from the Wisconsin six-yard line, Michigan lined up like this:

No, your eyes are not fooling you. Jim Harbaugh really pulled this wacky look out of his back pocket with 10 guys lining up behind each other.

Of course, a team can’t legally snap the ball like that, so the Wolverines quickly shifted into a more traditional goal line look. De’Veon Smith then took a handoff down to the one-yard line.

It looks silly, but Wisconsin was caught a bit off guard. After quarterback Wilton Speight called for a shift, he quickly got the snap off while the Badgers were still adjusting a bit.

Michigan took a 7-0 lead on the very next play on a Khalid Hill touchdown run.

Harbaugh will always keep you on your toes.
