Many Michigan fans apparently have already made dinner reservations to celebrate a Wolverine win over 2-5 Michigan State on Saturday. And they’re hoping for a deep discount too.

The Ruth’s Chris Steak House in Ann Arbor has no open reservations on Open Table from Sunday through Thursday. You may remember the Ruth’s Chris as the restaurant offering patrons a discount equaling undefeated Michigan’s margin of victory (up to 50 percent) after Wolverine games this year.

The restaurant’s promo first gained notoriety after the Wolverines’ 78-0 win at Rutgers. Even coach Jim Harbaugh took advantage of the discount after the Rutgers game.

The full steak house was first pointed out by the Detroit News. Someone from the paper called the steak house, and the person who answered the inquiry about the reservations simply offered a “no comment.” And the restaurant has apparently had to make adjustments.

Word is, the staff was so caught off guard by the response to the promotion the first night, an employee at a rival steak house was tapped to help with food-running.

Since, the steak house has beefed up staff.

We checked on Open Table too, and this is the screen you get when you inquire about a reservation for Monday night.

Good luck getting a reservation.

Reservations are still available for after Michigan’s game vs. Maryland on Nov. 5, and we’re wondering if that dinner date would end up being a better value. Rivalry games can be unpredictable and Saturday’s game is in East Lansing. Doesn’t a home game vs. Maryland feel like a better bet?
